Tali Rose is a 24 year old artist and DJ from Montreal. She also runs an NFT marketplace where they “authenticate physical art and turn it into a crypto asset.” Rose's sound is very varied and contains many different influences.

"A lot of my music and my sound is inspired by the people in the crowd, and I don't like to limit myself to a certain genre," she said.

Rose didn't grow up around music, but was more of a visual artist. It was only later in her life that she discovered different musical genres on her own. His passion took another form during the pandemic. She missed the concerts so much that, to console herself, she bought herself a pair of DJ turntables.

"I didn't really know what I was doing, it was just a way to fulfill this need for experiential music in my life, and then things started to take off from there," Rose said.

Although she's only been a professional DJ for about a year, she's accomplished a lot for a newcomer, having performed at some of Montreal's hottest spots.

"Less than a year ago I was in my bedroom playing music to myself and now I can say I've played all my favorite places in Montreal, something I never never thought to say,” she said.

Keep an eye out for Tali Rose as she is growing rapidly on the Montreal DJ scene.

"I'm still learning, still growing, and still evolving with my music, so the Tali Rose you know today isn't the same Tali Rose you'll know tomorrow," Rose said.
